This full-bodied Sicilian red captures the classic qualities of the Nero d’Avola grape. Dense and dark, with flavours of ripe, almost cooked, black cherries and plums. The nose and palate are spicy with notes of liquorice and soft, earthy tannins. A wine that lingers on the finish, with hints at coffee and bitter chocolate rounding it out.
