There has never been a more exciting time to enjoy English Wine. Though a fairly new industry, it is attracting many dynamic winemakers keen to push boundaries and experiment. English wine shares a lot in common with Champagne thanks to a similar climate and trademark chalky soils. It's no wonder that this, combined with the invigorating know-how of UK wineries, has put English wine on the map as a serious sparkling wine source. Still English wines are starting to skyrocket forward too, and the future is looking very intriguing indeed.
