Chenin Blanc

Chenin Blanc

Chenin Blanc is a versatile grape, often viewed as being a bit of a ‘chameleon’ due to its ability to express itself in a wide variety of styles. Chenin Blanc’s historic home is the Loire Valley, where it provides the backbone to many exceptional wines, including those of Savennières and Vouvray. Yet its spiritual home is arguably in South Africa, where Chenin Blanc thrives in the warm, dry conditions and produces equally intriguing wines. From lean and zippy, to rich and textured there is certainly something to suit every palate in the world of Chenin Blanc.
