From up-and-coming winemaker Natasha Williams, the Lelie van Saron is made in a cool climate style - beautifully capturing the minerality of the region’s Cartref soils in balance with refined varietal fruit.

Layers upon layers of delicate citrus, lemon peel, apple and melon and a heavenly saline finish that balances out its creamy texture. Natasha's approach to winemaking is simple: make wine with a pure expression of the terroir and grape variety, using natural methods. The result is an elegant and honest wine that nods to Burgundy and delivers a world-class expression of Chardonnay.

About Lelie van Saron

Lelie van Saron is the solo venture of Natasha Williams, a young, talented winemaker from the small town of Saron in the Western Cape. After spending time abroad - completing a harvest in California and travelling through France – Natasha was inspired to start her own project. Lelie van Saron translates to 'The Lily of Saron' in Afrikaans and references Natasha's deep love for her hometowns natural beauty. For Natasha, wine is all about reflecting nature.

'I strive to make wines that are elegant and honest with a pure reflection of the terroir.' - Natasha Williams
