This truly is a fresh and mineral Gavi- oyster shell, flint and a chalkiness are paired with lemon zest and a juicy, mouth-watering acidity.

Giordano wants to take a step away from the bulk production that dominates the Gavi region. In every area of his practice, he takes a small step away from the norm. The result is a wine that shows the personalities of a Gavi, with more nuance, interest and quality.

Jancis Robinson

Zesty Cortese grapes vinified with care to produce a wine with real vitality and just a tiny hint of Camembert(!). A real pleasure to drink with or without food. Good acidity and structure. Worthwhile evidence of Italy’s white-wine expertise. (JR)
