Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, with Odessos Winery & Globul Wines

Bulgaria’s Black Sea Coast is a gem of a wine region, with perfect grape-growing conditions, dramatic and diverse geography, and a wine-making history that stretches back millennia.

Brothers Georgi and Vladi Vankovi, aka Odessos Winery, are rising stars of Bulgarian winemaking, crafting clean, precise, elegant and modern wines from Black Sea Coast vineyards at their urban winery on the outskirts of the city of Varna. Odessos’s wines have never before been available in the UK, so this is your chance to taste them before anyone else and to meet the winemakers behind this exciting new project.

Joining the Odessos boys will their UK importer, Dilyan Kolev of Globul Wines. Dilyan will be pouring and introducing the exceptional wines of another Black Sea producer that he represents, Tsarev Brod Winery, neighbours and friends of Odessos.

Come along for what will be a lively, fun and informative evening, serving as your perfect introduction to artisanal Bulgarian wine.
