The 2015 Brut Vintage is made from 100% Chardonnay, and ages gently on its lees for 4 years before release, to add incredible depth and texture to the final wine. A fine mousse accompanies stunning notes of tangerine oil, lemon confit, a tickle of marzipan and vibrant acidity on the finish. A fantastic, and fun alternative to vintage Champagne.
It's not every day that you come across a Canadian sparkling wine, made with consultation from not just one, but two of Champagne's great names. Benjamin Bridge originally took form with help from the legendary Raphaël Brisbois of Piper Heidsieck, who helped shape this remarkable Nova Scotia winery in its early years. Sadly Raphaël passed away in 2013, but his legacy certainly lives on and is now being built upon by another Champagne icon; Pascal Agrapart, whose eponymous winery is one of the worlds most sought after Grower Champagnes. Safe to say, this is a winery crafted by the very best and from the first sip, we were simply blown away.
