At the Table with Sashi Moorman

We are delighted to announce that our friend, the iconic vigneron Sashi Moorman, will be hosting an exclusive evening introducing 6 wines from his Evening Land Vineyards project from Eola-Amity Hills AVA just north of Salem in Oregon, USA.

The project, founded in 2014, is a collaboration between California's Sandhi winery, former Screaming Eagle co-owner Charles Banks, winemaker Sashi Moorman and cult sommelier Rajat Parr.

Sashi & Rajat believe that Evening Land Vineyards are the most special sites in the Willamette Valley. Their wines truly express the best vineyards in these lands. Sashi and his team have an intimate knowledge and passion for these vineyard parcels, some of which are approaching 50 years since first planting.

The beauty of Seven Springs is encapsulated in the natural vegetation there, the diverse forest of botanicals and flora and fauna that grows amongst these profound vineyards. Sashi works with only the best sites for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in all of Oregon. His Pinot’s have beautiful earthy qualities, gentle red berry fruits and light herbal notes whilst his Chardonnays are flinty, mineral with an energetic citrus core of flavour.

Their wines have recently received these amazing scores and notes from acclaimed critic Jancis Robinson.

This evening will be a celebration of Oregon wines of precision, freshness and energy and we look forward to you joining us as we share in Sashi’s vision for this unique place.
