We’re thrilled to welcome David Clarke, co-founder of EX ANIMO WINE CO., for a special evening of wine tasting in Crystal Palace. David will be pouring a curated selection of wines, some from his own celebrated portfolio, and others handpicked from his favourite South African and Australian producers featured on the TST shelves.
ABOUT DAVID:
David is a certified sommelier and co-founder of Ex Animo Wine Co., established in 2014 with his wife, Jeannette Clarke. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, David began his wine career in fine wine retail in the late 1990s, later working at Harrod’s Wine Department in London, where he met Jeannette. He served as Head Sommelier at top Melbourne restaurant Vuedemonde and as Executive Officer for Sommeliers Australia before relocating to Cape Town, South Africa, in 2013. At Ex Animo, David focuses on distributing unique, small-batch South African wines both domestically and to Australia, emphasising the passion and heritage of independent producers.
