This wine has all the dials turned up. It is intensely dry with rich acidity. Brimming with salted almonds, toast, freshly baked biscuits and raw yeast from some time under flor, and we don't stop there, it is all tied together with yellow apple and fresh orange zest. The end note from this wine is a long saline finish. This is striking, memorable, punchy and cracking value.

This belongs beside a whole rotisserie chicken, plonked on the table with a big hunk of crusty fresh bread and puddles of olive oil.
