Fresh, spritzy and fun. Fresh green nettle, green apple skin and green grapes and some fizz keep this wine lovely and fresh. A note of smoky steel is complimented by a chalky texture and gives way to a salty oyster shell finish. Fruit from a plot of 50 year old vines gives this wine a beautiful depth and balance. This is a perfect aperitif; The salty steely notes would be a wonderful counterpart to freshly shucked oysters, or any other raw fish dish.
