This wine has got all the dials turned up. Full-bodied, a nice grip of tannin and juicy acidity to balance. Full of juicy black cherry and raspberry, with a bite of cracked black peppercorns. Nerello Mascalese dominates this blend of Sicilian native grape varieties. It spends a year in neutral oak to let all the flavours of this punchy wine come together. This will come to life beside something rich and salty. A hunk of Parmesan, or a rich stew will do perfectly.
