A deceptively light colour, with a deep flavour of fresh cherry, herbs and a subtly wild, animal side, and incredible length. Trousseau is native to Jura. It's not seen super widely as it's hard to ripen it fully, think more like Pinot Noir than Grenache though. This wine is fermented in large neutral oak to coax out its perfume without imparting oak flavours and the result is fragrant and bright with balance.
