Domaine de Galouchey are one of the most idiosyncratic estates in Bordeaux. Located in Bordeaux's Entre-deux-Mers appellation, with less than a hectare of vineyard land, they make this wine from all the grape varieties permitted in Bordeaux - red and white together. They call their wine Vin de Jardin as a riposte to the 'Vin de Garage' wines of the 1990s. It has since garnered a cult following among those drinkers weary of Bordeaux's corporate side. The wine itself is bold and weighty, with a silky texture, combining Bordeaux character with a hefty dash of flair.
