Marabino
Meaning “land of the beloved sun,” Marabino was founded in 2002 in Sicily’s Val di Noto by vigneron Pierpaolo Messina. Inspired by biodynamic practices he observed in Tuscany, Messina farms 30 hectares divided into 18 parcels, just a few kilometres from the Ionian Sea. The cooling coastal breezes preserve freshness and balance in the wines. Deeply committed to sustainability, Marabino avoids all synthetic chemicals, relies on wild yeasts, and vinifies each parcel separately to express a true sense of place.
