The Huré Family own 10 hectares of vines across the Montagne de Reims. Brothers François and Pierre work under the guidance of their father Raoul in this close-knit family business. They started adopting biodynamic methods in 2006, and fine tune their vineyard work to each individual parcel, something François learned while working in Burgundy.
Their attention to detail may be micro-local but their outlook is global. They cite Hubert De Montille from Domaine de Montille in Volnay for his amazing way to express each vineyard, and Mat Donaldson from Pegasus Bay Winery in New Zealand as influences and inspiration.
