Domaine de Triennes

Domaine de Triennes

Domaine Triennes was founded in 1989 by Seysses and de Villaine, two icons of Burgundy who viewed Provence to be criminally undervalued. They set their sights on the rolling, mountainous terrain of the Var region, where vines had been cultivated for thousands of years. The name 'Triennes' nods to this ancient history; referencing Triennia, a festival held in honour of Bacchus during the Roman era. In a region increasingly dominated by mass-produced brands, Domaine Triennes is a breath of fresh air to this stunning coastal region.
