This single vineyard Vapolicella is bright, intense and lifted. Fresh cherries are complimented with graphite and white pepper but also spices like clove and cinnamon from its time in oak. It has structure, but remains silky and the finish is long. This would pair beautifully with a rich mushroom risotto covered with parmesan.

The soils are hard and littered with fossils. This prompts the roots to venture deep and contributes to the concentration of the wine.
