This is a dense and juicy wine led by dark blackberry, black plum and cassis, this carried by a fine mineral backbone and aromatic black rose tea and black pepper. Tannin is welcome on the palate, helping to cut through the fruit and boost the aromatics. This has one eye on the Rhone but Aussie in character.
