Few winemakers have done more to revive and reimagine Andalusia’s wine heritage than Willy Pérez and Ramiro Ibáñez. With their De La Riva project, they’ve turned a scholar’s eye and a craftsman’s hand to the region’s most elusive phenomenon: flor, the veil of yeast that shapes the great biologically aged wines of southern Spain.

Their latest project, Colección N°1 Crianza Biológica, six bottlings from six regions, each chosen to explore how flor, soil, and microclimate interact. It’s an exceptionally rare chance to taste the landscape of Andalusia through the lens of its most distinctive winemaking tradition.

1 x Alvear, NV (Montilla-Moriles), unfortified PX, intense and saline after 8–9 years under flor.

1 x Cortijo La Fuente, NV (Málaga), smoky, red-clay minerality and broad texture.

1 x El Armijo, NV (Jerez), chalky and coastal, pure albariza character.

1 x González Palacios, NV (Lebrija), classic Palomino, six years under flor.

1 x Gómez Nevado, NV (Villaviciosa de Córdoba), mountain-grown field blend, perfumed and iron-tinged.

1 x Macharnudo, 2016 (Pago El Majuelo), single-vintage Palomino from the famed Macharnudo pago, saline and stony.

Only 500 cases made, these are extremely limited.
