This is a weird and wonderful blend of Riesling, Gelber Muskateller and Silvaner, naturally fermented with extended skin contact (giving it a gorgeous pink colour!). What makes this particularly exciting, is that the wine is then aged under flor in oak barrels. This is a technique commonly used in the Jura, to add richer, nutty flavours with a tickle of salinity. Here the results are brilliant - it's brimming with notes of fresh guava juice, ripe pears, orange zest, chamomile and a touch of honey on the finish. A totally unique and delicious wine.
