José Antonio didn't let them put him off and built one of the most respected in the Sherry Triangle. The bodega is still in family hands today.
They work in a traditional way, topping up the casks and performing the 'saca' by hand, filtering is minimal and no SO2 is added to the wines, which are known for their trademark yeasty flor notes intensified by the high location of bodega exposed to the cool Poniente winds.
