'El Tofol' is a tiny single vineyard - just one hectare - of Macabeo planted in 1969, which L'Enclos de Peralba proudly farm biodynamically. Macabeo is a variety that often flies under the radar, and is usually bottled as a blend rather than being allowed to shine on its own.
This wine shows exactly why it's worthy of our time; fresh and aromatic with stone fruits and a gorgeous, oily texture that's balanced with flinty minerality and vibrant acidity
12.5% alcohol. Limey and intense with high acidity and a mineral core. This has lovely pithy intensity with some structure to the pronounced citrus fruit. So lively and energetic.
