A classic, smokey expression of Cabernet Franc from the famed Loire region of Bourgueil. Brooding dark fruit and redcurrant, with earthy notes, smoked red pepper and an almost leathery finish. An incredible wine to enjoy with smoked meats or vegetables.

Domaine de la Chevalerie has been owned and operated by the Caslot family since 1640. The original farmhouse still sits at the heart of the operation, alongside massive tuffeau cellars carved into the slopes surrounding them. Their natural temperature control has lent itself to perfect ageing and storage for hundreds of years. Today siblings Emmanuel and Stéphanie continue their family tradition, alongside conversion to both organic and biodynamic viticulture.
