In French ‘Canopée’ translates to ‘canopy’, referring to the location of this little parcel of vines. They sit just above the village, overlooking to roofs of its houses - much like the sensation of being above a canopy. These deep, calcareous soils translate to a wine with stunning tension and balance. This feels a little like if De Moor made St Veran. Elegant and flinty, with lots of citrus, apple, and a tickle of pepper bit of pepper. Restrained elegance at its finest.
