Made by well-travelled US sommeliers Richard and Carla Rza Betts from a plot of 150-year-old, dry-farmed Grenache in the Barossa Valley, this is their ode to the Rhône’s Château Rayas. Rich and heady aromatics of lifted, pure redcurrants, cranberries and cherries, and a teasing hint of volatility. Great intensity, with slate and minerals lifting the black fruit to a peppery, earthy dimension.Gorgeous.
