This is a fabulous organic Albariño from one of Rias Baixas most dynamic producers. A wine that celebrates racy acidity, with mouthwatering notes of zesty, ripe citrus fruits layered with crunchy green apple. Thanks to a tickle of lees ageing, it also has a fleshy texture and brings fantastic balance to the vibrant acid. Enjoy this with anything that requires a squeeze of lemon on top - we particularly love it with oysters

A cut-above, organic Albariño with a zesty, pithy citrussy energy, the fruit dipped in salty minerals and served with a mouthwatering wash of sea-spray acidity but with notes of fennel and dill and superb depth of flavour. To describe it is to induce cravings for mariscos (shellfish) to eat with it.

About Alberto Nanclares

Alberto Nanclares and Silvia Prieto own five hectares of Albariño vineyards in Rias Baixas on the cool Galician coast of North-West Spain. Grapes are traditionally grown on granite pergolas, which keep the vines off the damp ground and airs them in the Atlantic winds – a bit like hanging them on a washing line. Alberto and Silvia seek a balance with nature in their farming - using seaweed and grape marc composts to nourish the vines. The granitic soils, bring incredible minerality and freshness to the wines. In the winery, their approach is: "maximum respect for the grapes and minimal intervention with the winemaking" allowing each vintage and plot to shine through.
