Bergström Wines
The Bergström family have played a massive role in bringing Oregon winemaking into the world of fine wine. Josh and his wife Caroline began planting vines in the Willamette Valley in 1999, focusing on Burgundian varietals that thrived in this unique microclimate. This is a region that is now famous for producing world-class expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and the Bergström wines perfectly exemplify this. The amount of effort that Josh invests in the vineyard is one of the key reasons the wines are so impressive. Ten months of the year he is out on his tractor, all day, managing the vineyards. His approach is painstakingly meticulous and has been an inspiration to many young winemakers in the region.
