Eleni & Edouard Vocoret
Husband and wife duo, Eleni and Edouard Vocoret, are part of an exciting new generation of Chablisien producers. (If the Vocoret name sounds familiar, it’s because Edouard's family owns Domaine Vocoret & Fils, a large Chablis Domaine renowned for its solid, classically-styled wines.)
The pair met in 2010 while working harvest in New Zealand but returned to Chablis to run a small 5-hectare plot in the family vineyard. Inspired by mentor and Chablis icon Vincent Dauvissat, they embrace single-vineyard Chablis production with a focus on traditional farming and vinification methods.
Their wines are characterised by brilliant minerality and a bracing clarity of flavour that are a testament to their conscientious farming, low yields, and a deft hand in the winery.
