In the Case:Domaine Equis, 'Equinoxe' Crozes Hermitage, 2020‘Equinoxe’ is made exclusively from Syrah, grown on the rocky, gravelly soils that define the Crozes-Hermitage terroir. Naturally fermented and aged in older oak barrels, the resulting wine is a perfect example of why Rhone Syrah is so captivating. Dark and silky, with fleshy notes of black cherry, boysenberry, and subtle violet, with a whack of cracked black pepper on the finish.

Based in the Peloponnese, Panagiotis is one of Greece's most innovative and exciting winemakers. He is dedicated to producing exceptional wines, from organic vineyards planted with indigenous Greek varieties. This is a whole lot of wine for such an affordable price. A gorgeous, classic expression of Californian Cabernet with great balance and drinkability. The fruit is ripe and rounded, with substantial tannins and a backbone of acidity that ties everything effortlessly together. If you love drinking proper Californian Cabernet, but don't want to pay Napa prices, this is definitely the wine for you.
Roagna, Dolcetto d'Alba, Piedmont, Italy 2020
Roagna's Dolcetto is a firm favourite of ours and offers a wonderful introduction to their refined style. They produce this stunning wine using fruit from two parcels in Barbaresco. The result is a structured expression of Dolcetto, with silky tannins and a vibrant palate bursting with dark forest fruits. All the signature 'Roagna' style for a fraction of the Barbaresco price.
Triangle Wines, 'Calco' Pinot Noir, Chile 2020
This delicious Chilean Pinot Noir hails from the Limari Valley, where vines are gently cooled by the wind blowing in from the Pacific Ocean. It strikes a wonderful balance between light, juicy fruit and layers of savoury complexity. Think juicy raspberry and red cherry, tinged with floral violet character, fine chalky tannins and a hint of forest floor. An exceptional wine to enjoy with game dishes this Autumn.
