A stunning white blend with floral exuberance and exotic fruits, with a silky texture on the tongue and a bright acidity. The name Frei Körper Kultur, or free body culture, refers to a German movement that endorses a naturalistic approach to living; an ideology embraced in the FKK Weiss. Bianka and Diana practice full biodynamics, which they learned from Alsace vigneron Patrick Meyer.

About Weingut Daniel and Bianka Schmitt

The Schmitt winery has been in the family for over 230 years with Bianka and Daniel working their 16 hectares for the last decade. They work in full biodynamics which they learned from legendary Alsace vigneron Patrick Meyer and are one of only 80 producers in Germany to be certified.

The Rheinhessen is the largest wine growing region in Germany and is largely associated with cheap bulk wine production. Though in recent years the region’s reputation has begun to shift as a new generation of young, talented growers are working organically in the vineyard, reducing yields and realising the excellent, undervalued terroir they possess.

If Rheinhessen is at the epicentre of a new wave in German winemaking, then husband and wife Daniel and Bianka Schmitt are at the epicentre of Rheinhessen, working hard to produce wines of the highest quality with as little intervention as possible. The wines are fresh and delicious and follow their motto: “wine just from grapes!”
