“From the ‘Dreamers Vineyard’ this Alsace wine is textural and lacy. A distinctive point of difference from the Mosel, with notes of rose petal and lemon balm. Enjoy with some good charcuterie!” - Rajat Parr
Vignoble du Rêveur literally translates to ‘Dreamers Vineyard’ and is the innovative Alsace project of Matthieu Deiss and his wife Emanuelle. The Deiss surname is a famous one in this picturesque region. Matthieu is the son of biodynamic pioneer Marcel Deiss who was, and remains, a driving force in Alsace natural winemaking. Founded in 2013, Vignoble du Rêveur is small yet mighty. Every vintage these wines explode with energy and offer an incredible expression of their region. Vignoble du Rêveur are a breath of fresh air to Alsace wines. They are part of a growing movement of producers harnessing biodynamic growing and producing dry, textural wines that showcase the best Alsace has to offer. Matthieu and Emanuelle are young winemakers helping to put their home back on the map.
