This is a pretty unconventional Gamay, grown in the warm, South African region of Wellington. The vines are wonderfully old and produce grapes of concentration and great quality. Radford Dale is a South African winery famed for its refreshing wines. Alex Dale, a Brit, and Ben Radford, an Australian, set up this project with the sole objective of making high-quality wines from the vineyards spread across the Western Cape. They work as naturally as possible and emphasise the unique quality of these amazing vineyard sites.
