A regional blend from four different old bush vine sites around The Cape. Despite the warm climate, the vineyards are tempered by the cooling Atlantic breeze, which helps retain freshness in the fruit.
Hand sorted Cinsault is fermented with a proportion of whole bunch with gentle punch-downs, yielding a greater depth of flavour and a slightly herbaceous edge. In the glass, this wine is perfumed and juicy, with a sun-soaked savouriness and energy. Silky tannins and a long bright finish mean it slips down very easily.
