From the Maconnais project of famed Meursault producer Comte-Lafon, comes a very serious take on an area of Burgundy once overlooked. It is excellent to see winemakers of Dominique Lafon's calibre taking on the incredible terroir here, and treating it on the same level as his esteemed Meursault. A saline, structured Chardonnay packed with crunchy green apples, citrus rind and layers of minerality.
