This wine is a selection of the best barrels from Rudeisheim’s top vineyard 'Berg Schlossberg'. It is undeniably the jewel in the Georg Breuer crown, producing wines that are incredibly complex and concentrated, and capable of ageing for many, many years.

James Suckling

Ravishingly subtle nose with a slew of wild herbs and a cornucopia of golden autumnal fruit, this is super elegant and finely etched dry white with so much minerality through the very delicate finish, which stretches out towards the horizon. Another GG equivalent from this producer who pioneered the category. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

About Georg Breuer

Winemaking dynamo Theresa Breuer took the reins at her family estate in Rheingau in 2004, aged 18 when her father passed away. The estate was founded in 1880 by Peter Breuer and owns some of the steepest, most prized vineyards in the Rheingau including several Grand Cru. Peter's grandson Bernhard was a true ambassador for Riesling, playing an important role in restoring its respectability in world markets after the lost Liebfraumilch years.

His motto was: "I wish to produce wines that make the specific characteristics of their origin visible". Theresa has continued to build on his legacy improving and innovating and has converted their vineyards to organics.
