Domaine St Pierre's 'Dos d'Chat' wines are a negoce project started in 2017 after he lost most of his crop to hail. From a difficult vintage came a positive experience, with winemaker Fabrice Dodane having the opportunity to work with some amazing organic and biodynamic growers in the Jura region and beyond. In 2021, Domaine St. Pierre branched out into Alsace for this zippy, one-of-a-kind Riesling. Racy acidity defines this excellent, energetic white that marries the texture of Alsace to the flinty signature of this Jura winery.

The wines of Domaine St Pierre once lived in the shadow of their famous contemporaries, Overnoy and Ganevat, but are now rightfully having their moment in the sun. Winemaker Fabrice Dodane has a fascinating history. He began his career studying in Burgundy and came to Domaine St Pierre in the late 80's after a stint working at a local cooperative. Slowly, but surely, he started to make the domaine his own, beginning the conversion to organic growing from 2002. In 2011 he finally had full control, and the results speak for themselves.
