Bruno Lorenzon's mastery of Chardonnay, blows the lid off the box we are all guilty of putting Côte Chalonnaise into. His wines are electric, full of amazing energy and layers of nuance you'd not usually expect from this often-overlooked corner of Burgundy.

His Montagny 1er Cru 'Mont Laurent' balances this mineral terroir, with the structure and gravitas of the 2018 vintage (which was quite warm and lends itself to very expressive wines). A gorgeous chardonnay with notes of white pear, crisp green apple, white flowers and a soft texture on the finish.
