This Garnacha is sourced from a single vineyard in the Sierra de Gredos, at 900 metres altitude— the highest in the DO. Very lifted and fresh, with bright red fruit and tons of minerality and a long finish. Elegant and structured, this is a testament to Garnacha’s potential when put in the right hands.

Please note, the wax is damaged on this last remaining bottle. The cork is perfect and unaffected.

About Daniel Landi

If there's been a revolution in Spanish winemaking Dani Landi is one of the chief rebels. He made his name with family winery Bodegas Jimenez Landi before setting out on his own projects, which include a series of terroir-expressive wines from old-vine Garnacha from small isolated vineyards perched high up in the Sierra de Gredos, southwest of Madrid.

He makes a 'village' wine called Uvas de la Ira but also bottles three vineyards separately which each aim to capture the specific landscape and place. “We make landscape wines from the vine without any make-up. Three basic ideas guide our work: minerality, freshness and elegance.”
