'Buisson Pouilleux' refers to two tiny parcels of old-vine Sauvignon Blanc -one panted in 1950 and the other 1964 - in Touraine. Clos du Tue Boeuf has been certified organic since the mid-1990s, and are a real driving force for natural and sustainable winemaking in Cheverny, and the Loire Valley in general. This textured Sauvignon Blanc is aged in old oak Burgundy barrels, adding notes of toast and brioche, alongside fresh citrus, lemon curd and apricot.

"Thierry and Jean-Marie Puzelat—brothers—are natural wine royalty. They are making some of the Loire’s most interesting wines and are at the heart of the natural wine movement." - Jamie Goode, wineanorak.com
