A selection of rare bottles from across the shop, which certainly adds an extra sparkle to the glittering Christmas season. The perfect case to gift a keen wine aficionado, or to enjoy yourself on a voyage of delicious discovery around the Christmas tree. Decadent, hedonistic wines made in tiny quantities from sought after producers that we adore. Enjoy a rare selection this festive season!

This case includes:

Remi Leroy, Blanc de Noirs Champagne, 2014

A complex and expressive Champagne made from exclusively Pinot Noir, crafted by the innovative and highly skilled Remi Leroy in the Aube. This is the ultimate celebration wine, that rewards you with layers upon layers of succulent berry fruit, apricot, croissant and a glorious freshness that lifts the finish. You can also enjoy this with your cheese board!

Domaine Mann, 'Pfersigberg' Grand Cru Riesling, Alsace 2017

The Grand Cru of Pfersigberg is renowned for producing powerful wines that develop great richness, finesse, and minerality; this wine is no exception. A dry Riesling that jumps from the glass upon pouring, displaying an intense bouquet of citrus fruits whilst still being profoundly elegant. This is a stunning wine to enjoy with smoked salmon canapes and unfurls more and more the longer it's in your glass.

Terroir al Limit, Pedra de Guix, Priorat 2017

For us, this incredible Spanish white is akin to a spectacular Hermitage blanc. Terroir al Limit has taken Priorat by storm, fast becoming one of the regions most sought after (and well scored) producers. An enticing blend of Pedro Ximenez, Macabeo and Garnacha Blanca that's rich and soft, with a light creamy texture balanced beautifully with vibrant acidity.

Whitcraft Wines, Santa Barbara Pinot Noir, California 2019

A wine that perfectly captures the expressive terroir of Santa Barbara, and showcases precisely why this area of California is now so famed for its Pinot Noir. Drake Whitcraft learnt from the best; both his hugely talented father and Burt Williams, founder of Williams-Selyem in Sonoma. The result is a perfectly balanced expression with bright ripe cherries and rosehips plus a luxurious, velvety texture.

Dominio del Aguila, Ribera del Duero Reserva 2017

The pinnacle of Dominio del Aguila's red winemaking. The fruit for this Reserva comes from some of the oldest vines in the village of La Aguilera, many over 100 years old and some even pre-phylloxera. After careful handpicking, the wines are fermented slowly in a cool cellar before ageing for 35 months in old barrels. The resulting wine is incredibly refined, but still with true Ribera del Duero character. A truly exceptional wine.

Kiralyudvar, 'Cuvee Patricia' Tokaji 2012

This stunning dessert wine, from Hungary's famed Tokaji region, is only made in exceptional years using the rare local variety Yellow Muscat. The Királyudvar estate, which translates as King’s Court, dates back to the 16th century and has been producing some of the finest Hungarian sweet wines for generations. The ultimate wine to enjoy with an opulent dessert, or strong, tangy cheese.
