A beautiful Chardonnay from carefully selected parcels in Puligny-Montrachet and the Maconnais. It's gently aged in a variety of oak barrels, from 228l to 600l, giving a suggestion of oak spice without ever distracting from it's lovely lemony, white peach fruit. This may be from a ripe vintage, but the wine has wonderful balancing acidity and a streak of flinty minerality. A bottle to easily enjoy now, or hold for a year or two.
