A delicate, expressive blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and L'Acadie, a hybrid crossing developed in Niagara often viewed as Canada's answer to Chardonnay. Pale salmon in colour with a delicate mousse, and brimming with red cherry, wild strawberry and grapefruit. A gorgeous aperitif option, though equally fantastic with fresh goats cheese, spring vegetables or seafood.
It's not every day that you come across a Canadian sparkling wine, made with consultation from not just one, but two of Champagne's great names. Benjamin Bridge originally took form with help from the legendary Raphaël Brisbois of Piper Heidsieck, who helped shape this remarkable Nova Scotia winery in its early years. Sadly Raphaël passed away in 2013, but his legacy certainly lives on and is now being built upon by another Champagne icon; Pascal Agrapart, whose eponymous winery is one of the worlds most sought after Grower Champagnes. Safe to say, this is a winery crafted by the very best and from the first sip, we were simply blown away.
