These wines are refreshingly varied, and each illustrate a different facet of the Terrasses du Larzac while holding Konrad’s fingerprint.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKonrad is farming completely organically and trusting nature to do what it does best. Hand-harvesting and fermentation with native yeast are standard and an obvious choice to Konrad. His philosophy is summed up best in his own words: “…it is in the vines that my wines are made.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKonrad Pixner is making wine down in the Terrasses du Larzac but that’s not where his story begins. Konrad is from a little spot in the north of Italy, in the Dolomites, called South Tyrol where they have a unique collision of cultures and he grew up in Italian vineyards speaking German. From here, Konrad went on to live all over the world while he studied for his PhD (you don’t have to delve deep into Google before you stumble upon his scientific papers).
